AMID the freezing winter, there are those who, despite unimaginable suffering, stood resilient through war trials.

For Syrians, it became a defining chapter in their history—11 days of fierce battle after 14 years of civil war led to their liberation, a victory that proved their unwavering strength. This triumph not only marks the end of a brutal era but lits a beacon of hope for their neighbours in Palestine, reminding them that even in the darkest times, resilience can lead to freedom.

Years of war have left the country deprived of institutions, safety and resources to rebuild Syria back to its glory days. There is a need for global action to aid them in making it through the harsh winter.
