A few seconds before the incident, Rico, 21, was summoned by police at the police booth for riding a motorcycle against the traffic flow with his cousin, Anggun Kartikasari, 24.
He was sending Anggun to attend a job interview at the nearby building when suddenly the explosion occurred.
He died at the scene, while Anggun was seriously injured and received treatment at a hospital.
According to one of Rico's relatives, Didi, he was alerted of the incident after visiting Anggun who was still weak and traumatised.
