Actor Willie Garson of "Sex and the City" and "White Collar" fame has died at the age of 57.

Garson's son, Nathen, confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

"I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I’m so proud of you. I will always love you, but I think it’s time for you to go on an adventure of your own."

The cause of death was not revealed.

Garson appeared in nearly 30 episodes in which he played talent agent Stanford Blatch and as Sarah Jessica Parker's male best friend, Stanford Blatch aka "Stanny" for both "Sex and the City" films.

He was most recently involved in the upcoming Sex and the City spin-off film and had been filming for the network's upcoming revival series, "And Just Like That," premiering this fall on HBO Max, according to Variety.

The versatile actor was also memorable in many films, such as "Little Manhattan," "There's Something About Mary," and "Groundhog Day."

Garson adopted his son, Nathen in 2009 and continued to be a strong advocate for adoption.

His final tweet on September 4, 2021, shared a similar message of peace.
