Singapore PMO lodges report over fake website announcing Lee Kuan Yew's death

The Prime Minister Office of Singapore is lodging a police report about a fake website boasting official PMO logo announcing the death of the Republic’s founding father and first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
Screenshots of the website has started circulating Wednesday night.
News portals in Singapore had clarified with the PMO that stated no new information has been released since an update Wednesday afternoon stating Kuan Yew was critically ill.
The latest report stated Kuan Yew, 91, who is on ventilator in the intensive care unit of Singapore General Hospital since February 5 for severe pneumonia, had an infection and was being treated with antibiotics.
The latest update by the PMO issued Wednesday said Kuan Yew remains critically ill in the ICU and has deteriorated further.
