KUALA LUMPUR: In a remarkable feat, the trailer for Tamil actor Vijay's upcoming film "Leo" has shattered records by becoming the fastest Indian movie trailer to amass one million likes on YouTube.
According to several reports from India's entertainment portal, this milestone was achieved in a mere 21 minutes, surpassing the previous record held by Vijay's film "Bigil," which took approximately one hour to reach the same mark in 2019.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Leo" boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Sanjay Dutt, Anurag Kashyap, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Trisha, and Priya Anand. This collaboration marks Vijay's second project with Lokesh following the success of "Master" released in 2021, and his fifth film with Trisha in over 15 years.
The trailer provides a thrilling glimpse into the film, showcasing Vijay and Trisha in a high-stakes pursuit to safeguard their family from menacing adversaries. Within a mere 12 hours of its release, "Leo" garnered an impressive 25 million views, solidifying its status as one of the most anticipated films of the year.
"Leo" is set to hit theatres worldwide on October 19, promising audiences an action-packed cinematic experience.
