NEW DELHI: Popular Tamil movie actor Thalapathy Vijay attracted more than four million followers as he made his debut on Instagram on Sunday.
The Indian star shared his photograph with the caption "Hello Nanbas and Nanbis" (hello friends), which went viral on the social media platform.
South Indian film celebrities Rashmika Mandana and Keerthy Suresh were among those who followed Vijay.
His Instagram account had 4.4 million followers on Monday.
"Official Page handled by office of actor Vijay," reads the bio of the verified Instagram account.
Tamil cinema fans are awaiting the 48-year-old actor's action-thriller Leo opposite actress Trisha Krishnan.
His latest movie Varisu opposite Rashmika Mandanna was a big hit at the box office.
