The temporary ceasefire in Gaza which took effect at 8 am Malaysian time on Monday is almost coming to an end. The Egypt brokered 72-hour truce is urging Israelis and Palestinians to make every effort in reaching “a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire”.
Israeli officials however said no progress had been made so far during the talks and fighting could soon resume.
During the temporary truce, Israel have stopped military operations in the coastal territory and Gaza fighters have stopped firing rockets and missiles.
The residents in Gaza meanwhile stopped fleeing and ventured out in hopes of piecing back together what they had left of their battered lives.
