As reported by The Daily Mail Australia, the suicide-murder incident took place at Port Lincoln, west of Adelaide in the early hours of Monday morning.
The childrens father, Damien Little, had earlier shared a suicide note on Facebook before the tragic event took place.
It is understood that Little was a respected coach with the Lincoln South Football Club.

“He was a popular bloke. It’s very, very sad,” said Leigh Clarke, a former local resident with ties to the football club, as quoted by The Daily Mail Australia.
Meanwhile, four-year-old Koda was to start kindergarten and has been described as a loving brother to his young sibling nine-month-old Hunter.
