Ukraine said on Monday it had never supplied defence technology to North Korea, responding to a New York Times article which quoted experts saying North Korea may have purchased rocket engines from a Ukrainian factory.
"Ukraine has never supplied rocket engines or any kind of missile technology to North Korea," the secretary of Ukraine's Security and Defence Council, Oleksandr Turchynov, said in a statement.
