Bestselling Harry Potter series author J.K. Rowling has lashed out against Republican front runner, Donald Trump.
The business mogul on Monday called for a "total and complete shutdown" of Muslims entering the United States.
This remark drew flak from social media users especially on Twitter, including one from Rowling.

Rowling was replying to a tweet posted by BBC Newsbeat, which shared an article titled “This is why people are calling American businessman, Donald Trump, Lord Voldemort”
Lord Voldemort is one of the antagonists in the Harry Potter series.
“How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad,” Rowling tweeted.
The tweet went viral instantaneously with a staggering 21,000 retweets (at Press time).
Their remarks -- deemed to be bordering on the comparison -- had triggered a flurry of reactions from social media users.
The stunning statement on Monday followed last week's mass shooting in California by a Muslim couple believed to have been radicalised by extremists, and landed with a thunderclap just as fellow presidential candidates were contemplating ways to improve national security.
