A WestJet flight from Vancouver to Toronto was diverted to Calgary following a bomb threat on Wednesday.
This was the fourth such incident which targeted WestJet in the past five day, as reported by Xinhua.
With 30 passengers and 5 crew members onboard, WestJet 722 took off from Vancouver at 5.14 local time and landed safely in Calgary at 8pm the same day.
The airlines managed to secure seats for these passengers once it was established the threat to be “another hoax”.
WestJet in a statement said that they will work closely with the authorities to find out who was responsible for the incident.
