A Ukrainian woman has angered social media users after she uploaded a picture of herself wearing mascara that was looted from the MH17 crash site.
Ekaterina Parkhomenko, who claimed to be a 'separatist' on her Instagram page, uploaded the picture with the caption: "Mascara from Amsterdam; to be precise, from the field. Well, you understand."
According to a report in news.com.au, Parkhomenko resides in the city of Torez, where MH17 crashed on July 17.
She had reportedly said she did not take the mascara herself but had obtained it "from a looter acquaintance".

Her action was criticised by the social media users. The Telegraph reported that she deleted her Instagram account, but not before replying to some of the comments she received on the pictures.
An Instagram user reportedly asked Parkhomenko: "Good thing you’re not eating up the in-flight food ... or whatever else you could find there."
To this, she replied: "Do you want me to send you some food too? And underwear? And faeces?"
