ATHENS: American singer, songwriter, and producer William James Adam Jr, also known as Will.i.am warned that artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping the job market, predicting significant job losses in the coming years.
According to Anadolu Agency (AA), he remarked on Wednesday during a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
He added that the situation of disadvantaged communities could further worsen if access to new technologies is not improved.
Himanshu Gupta, the CEO and co-founder of Climate AI, a company that uses AI to help companies and countries adapt their food and water supply chains to climate change, highlighted that AI can be used efficiently in the agricultural sector to deal with the effects of the climate crisis.
Another participant, Axel Oster, a student, spoke about the effects of AI in the education sector.
He mentioned that the use of AI in the sector would be beneficial but should be regulated to prevent misuse and distraction from the learning process.

She also added that the creation and distribution of deep fake content using AI is also worrying.
