Johoreans urged to submit suggestions on 2016 State Budget
MOHAMED KHALED: I will ensure that whatever being planned and later implemented truly meets the needs of Johoreans.
The people of Johor are asked to submit their suggestions and views on important aspects for the state government to consider in drawing up the 2016 State Budget.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, in a statement here, said the suggestions must be stated via the official Facebook website of the Menteri Besar at www.facebook.com/MohamedKhaledNordin with the hashtag #bajetjohor2016.
"We are now focusing on gathering various matters for preparation in tabling the 2016 Budget and are considering several aspects to be included in our planning," he said in the statement.
He said thus priority would certainly be given to issues on the needs of the people including the prosperity of the people, the economy, rural development, women empowerment, building the capacity of the youths and young people, education and skills, heritage and culture, as well as racial solidarity.
"It is thus my aspiration and responsibility to ensure that whatever is being planned and eventually implemented by the Johor state government truly meets the needs of the people and in line with their expectation," he said.
Mohamed Khaled said the Johor State Budget for next year was expected to be tabled on Thursday, Nov 19.
