Sinopec Engineering bags RM4.259 bln contract from Petronas subsidiary

Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co Ltd has received a letter of award for a RM4.259 billion (US$1.329 billion) contract from Petronas subsidiary, PRPC Refinery and Cracker Sdn Bhd.

KNM Group Bhd in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today said it has been agreed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, KNM Process Systems (KNMPS) Sdn Bhd, be a selected sub-contractor to Sinopec Engineering for the execution of the contract.

KNMPS has been cooperating with Sinopec Engineering on the bidding process.

The contract is related to the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract for one package of an oil refining and petrochemical integrated engineering project at Pengerang, Johor.
