KUALA LUMPUR: Smith+Nephew, the global medical technology business, today announced the opening of a newly expanded office in Kuala Lumpur creating a modern collaborative working environment for customer facing employees supporting healthcare professionals in Malaysia as well as Global Business Service (GBS) colleagues providing shared-services support across Asia-Pacific.
The new office is located at Bangsar South, a central business district in Kuala Lumpur.
The commercial team will be moving from Petaling Jaya with the new central location providing better access to many major hospitals and patient care centres.
The prime location is well connected with transport, and will support Smith+Nephew’s growth ambitions, including expanding its GBS team as the Asia Pacific hub for shared services.

Smith+Nephew’s flexible working arrangements were a key factor in the design of the office which offers conducive collaborative spaces for teams to meet in person or in a hybrid setting while also providing quieter spaces and personal booths for employees to work individually or in smaller groups.
The new office also includes green spaces, bringing plant life inside to create a calming environment, as well as interactive areas where employees can relax or play games.
