Titiwangsa MP Johari Ghani appointed as UDA chairman

UDA Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani as chairman effective July 8, to replace Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed, who completed his service on Apr 16.

In a statement Wednesday, UDA said Johari, who is also member of Parliament for Titiwangsa, has over 23 years of experience in the corporate world involving restructuring of companies and mergers and acquisitions.

Johari has also been involved in various industries, among them, food and drinks, agriculture, manufacturing and infrastructure, it said.

"He has also helm many companies listed on Bursa Malaysia as managing directors," it said.

UDA hoped that Johari's appointment will help drive the company to further success.
