TNB receives EEI Award

Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has received the Edison Electric Institute's (EEI) Asian Utility Award 2014 for the category of large capitalisation, gold level performance, at the Asian Energy Financial and Investment conference in Singapore last night.

In a statement today, TNB said the award was based on its achievements in posting the second highest shareholder returns in the category of large capital among Asian utilities firms.

EEI, in collaboration with investment analysts, has identified 43 utilities companies in Asia and measured their financial performance for the previous three years to identify qualified companies, it said.
