Zalora to absorb GST, keep product prices competitive
Zalora is Asia's leading online fashion and fastest-growing fashion focused e-commerce site in Southeast Asia.
Online fashion retailer, Zalora will keep its price competitive despite the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in April 2015.
"Zalora will do what it always does, it will do its utmost best to offer value for money fashion items to men and women in Malaysia.
"We will always price our products competitively, if this means absorbing GST on some of our products, we will do it," Zalora Malaysia managing director for buying and marketing, Giulio Xiloyannis, said in a statement today.
Zalora will always strive to be the most fashionable and best priced in the market, he said, adding that the GST will surely not change its mission statement.
