No word yet on Penang assembly dissolution
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng had an audience today with Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas at Seri Mutiara, but the Chief Minister's Office did not issue any statement on the dissolution
of the state legislative assembly for state elections.
Lim was seen entering the Seri Mutiara compound in the chief minister's official car at 9.30 am and leaving at 10.10 am.
The Penang legislative assembly is expected to be dissolved tomorrow to pave the way for simultaneous elections with the 13th federal polls.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak dissolved the Dewan Rakyat yesterday to enable the 13th general election to be held.
