U.S. Vice President JD Vance hailed on Sunday (June 14) a new agreement with Iran as a "big moment for the United States of America" that would eliminate Tehran's nuclear threat.

In an interview on FOX News Channel’s The Big Weekend Show, Vance stated that if the terms of the deal are met, it is "going to fundamentally transform the Middle East for the next 50 years" by ending conflict and lowering energy prices for the American people.

The Vice President highlighted immediate breakthroughs under the agreement, including the "immediate opening of the Straits of Hormuz" and the lifting of the naval blockade on Iran.

He emphasized that the agreement relies on a strict verification process to ensure "Iran will never have a nuclear weapon" and cannot attempt to buy or procure one.
