Released Tuesday, the two-minute trailer provides new clips of the film which delves deeper into Grey's shadowy past, expanding on the 19-second teaser released earlier this week.
In the second instalment of the Fifty Shades franchise, Steele takes Grey back on the condition that there be no more secrets. But as the two begin to build trust, shadowy figures from Grey's past begin to surface including a mysterious woman who asks "Do you think you're the first woman who has tried to save him?"
The sequel is directed by James Foley and sees the return of Marcia Gay Harden, Rita Ora, Jennifer Ehle and Luke Grimes.
"Fifty Shades Darker" hits theaters Valentine's Day 2017.
