Dubbed as one of the highly anticipated and biggest movie for this year, Jurassic World promises a good dose of fun adventure, terror and good humour.
Like its predecessors, Jurassic World maintains its plot and location. Like the previous installments, 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III in 2001, where vicious flesh hungry dinosaur wandered off and caused chaos to humankind.
This time, the intended site of Jurassic Park in Isla Nublar, a remote island off the west coast of Costa Rica has expanded and grew into a luxurious dinosaur theme park called Jurassic World.

22 years post Jurassic Park’s first catastrophic tour in Isla Nubla, Jurassic World feeds the excitement of its audience with the wholesome goodness of top-notch special effects, some nostalgia and some self-reflection on how humans are the actual beasts.
Jurassic World, the fully operational theme park offers its visitors rides on triceratops, out-of-this-world ‘beast shows’ like gargantuan mosasaurus which leaps from an aquatic amphitheatre ala Free Willy, swallowing whole a shark as its regular meals and the walk through or field trips on the green plateu full of brontosaurus.
However, with all these excitements Jurassic World has to offer, the visitors are getting bored and are no longer amazed by the mediocrity of these genetically engineered dinosaurs.They seek for bigger adventure and more thrills.
Understanding the needs and wants of the visitors and having the pressure to constantly be at the peak of the business, the park management under the direction of billionaire, Simon Masrani played by Irfan Khan and the mad scientist, Dr Henry Wu played by BD Wong whom repeated his role from Jurassic Park, has chosen to formulate a genetically mutated monstrous, super-scary dinosaur called Indominous Rex, as their new attraction.
This new hybrid dinosaur is made in the confinement of a lab, with 'secret ingredient' and raised in isolation. It is highly intelligent and highly disastrous. If you think Tyrannosaurus-Rex is a bad-ass, wait till you see the Indominous Rex.
Again like its predecessors, the chaos begins when this exhilarating action-adventure film tracks and pursues this newly created beast as it escapes its confinement and roams freely in the jungle island, slaughtering anything and everything that moves.
Also, like its predecessors, the Jurassic World splices astounding special effects, action and drama. Family values and union that is tested during times of disasters has become a signature to this film series. Like when John Hammond, the founder and CEO of bio-engineering company InGen in Jurassic Park struggled to bring his two grandchildren to safety from the brink of the deadly attack of the T-Rex and raptors.

And so, this time, on this disastrous high-end vacation island of Jurassic World, is the workaholic, top-level executive and park operations manager, Claire Dearing, played by Bryce Dallas Howard. Claire who is swamped with taking care of the island, feels pushed to take care of her two nephews, Gray and Zach played by Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson. Claire then leaves the 'babysitting' job to her assistance who also has her head full of things to do. Feeling neglected, both brothers pursue their very own adventure on the island without their 'babysitter'.
And then comes in the hunky, sarcastically-funny animal behaviour expert and rebel trainer, Owen Grady played by Chris Pratt who scrambles in the island’s jungle all sweaty and hot on a Triumph instead of the good old Jeep Wrangler staff vehicles in the previous films (The Jeep did appear a number of times in the film though).

Owen is sought after for his skills and knowledge in animals and dinosaurs. He has the ability to train 'murderous' raptors like they are wild horses. That is how good he is at what he does. His character sends the sense of humility and sanity amidst the roaring madness of non-stop action and brutal dinosaurs rampage.
Together, Claire and Owen are set to save the 20,000 visitors on the island who were all escaping frantically from being devoured by raptors and at the same time making sure that Claire's two nephews who wanders off during evacuation are safe and in good state.

Director, Colin Trevorrow who directed Safety Not Guranteed and Home Base performed magic with this one and due credit given for not forgetting the interesting factors of not just with genetically mutated creatures and abnormally intelligent monster but also the humans and their roles in this film.
And so did the writers for bringing in quirky nostalgia, reminding us of the good old ‘villain’ charm in the form of corrupted and power hungry military contractor played by Vincent D’Onofrio as Hoskins. And how a flustered, career-minded, single aunty got her first dose of maternal instinct, who runs gracefully in office attire complete with heels saving her nephews from being the Rex's kibble.

This fourth edition is somewhat similar, but much more than its predecessors . The special effects are really amplified in this one making dinosaurs seem so real and alive that it is just so surreal. And that is what this film series is all about. It is not about what is real. It is how it made you think that it could be real.
And though it evokes the original, yet it offers the new take of fun weaved in hard pounding, terror-thrills to this epic science fiction adventure film. It’s a ‘roarsome’ (roaring and awesome) film that leaves me almost believing that Jurassic World can be true. Just like 1993.
