Local actress, Raja IIya, 31 is rumoured to act in a Hollywood franchise, Marvel at the end of the year.
Raja Ilya whose real name, Raja Ramilah Begum Raja Mohamad confirmed that she will undergo an eight-month training in Indonesia under the supervision of actor and martial arts artist, Yayan Ruhian before filming begins, according to Cinema Online report.
The actress however prefers to keep mum over the details of the new venture, as the film title has yet to be confirmed.
Social media users lauded the good news especially when Marvel has never failed to cease its fans with blockbuster films such as The Avengers, Captain America and Guardian of The Galaxy.
Raja Ilya was not available to comment on the matter. Her manager, who is only known as Amar told Astro AWANI today that Raja Ilya will be holding a press conference to announce her involvement.
Raja Ilya has acted in several films including Appalam, Suamiku Encik Perfect 10 and Ester.
She is currently in the midst of promoting her new film, ‘Soulmate Hingga Jannah’, directed by Datuk Professor A Razak Mohaideen. The film also co-starred Singaporean singer/actor, Taufik Batisah and local actress, Erra Fazira.
The film will be released at February 16.
