The fairytale marriage between Kate Middleton and Prince William is said to be on the rocks after the Duchess of Cambridge decided to move back in with her parents. The 32-year-old expectant duchess is also expecting her second child, 14 months after giving birth to her first child, Prince George.
People magazine however reported, the reason Kate is staying with her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, in Bucklebury, England is aimed to help soothe her symptoms caused by hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness, which plagued her in 2012.
“[She is] not at all well, the poor thing,” a family friend told People. “When you’re ill, the place you feel most comfortable is at home with your mom, isn’t it?”
While Kate’s pregnancy illness has yet to subside and allow her to return to her royal duties, a source close to Buckingham Palace warned, the royal couple may soon call it quits.
The source added the couple always seem to be at loggerheads with each other especially when it comes to matters concerning their marriage.
With Christmas holidays just around the corner, Kate is said to have made plans to spend time in Buckleburry, but she may have to cancel them after receiving opposition from Prince William who wants them to spend time with the royal family instead.
Previously the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were believed to be spending this year’s festive season at Anmer Hall, after a US$7 million refurbishment.
