'Blade Runner' sequel adds Walking Dead' star Lennie James to cast

"The Walking Dead" actor Lennie James is joining the cast of the "Blade Runner" sequel, reports Deadline.

Set several decades after the original 1982 film, the new movie will see Harrison Ford return to play the character of Rick Deckard.

James will also join already confirmed cast members Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas and Dave Bautista.

No details on his character have yet been released.

Denis Villeneuve is directing the project, which is slated for release October 6, 2017.

As well as starring in "The Walking Dead" James is also known for his role in Guy Ritchie's "Snatch."
