DAVID Bowie is re-releasing his hit single "Fame" in a limited 40th anniversary edition picture disc.
Originally released in the summer of 1975, "Fame" came from his ninth studio album, "Young Americans." The new 7" picture disc will be released on July 24, 2015.
The song was Bowie's first number one hit in the US and was co-written by John Lennon. The former Beatle's vocals can also be heard on the track.
The special anniversary disc will also feature an alternate mix of the song "Right."
