Popular 80s singer, Famieza, dies at 43 from heart complications
Famieza was first discovered when she was 16 years old after taking part in the 1998 Bintang RTM singing competition.
A local singer popular with the single “Getaran”, Hajjah Famiza Zulkifli, or her stage name, Famieza, passed away at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) at 11.20pm last night, due to heart complications.
She was 43.
Famieza was 16 years old when she was first discovered, and received widespread attention after taking part in the 1988 Bintang RTM singing competition.
Not long after she shot to fame, Famieza retired from the entertainment industry to start her business selling beauty and halal products.

Famieza's remains were buried in Gombak today.
