THE next Transformers movie will be titled "The Last Knight," it has been revealed.
Director Michael Bay took to Instagram to break the news to fans, setting up an account for the new film, which will begin shooting this June.
The first post, a short video clip teaser, was accompanied by the caption: "Calling all #Autobots: Optimus Prime is ready for battle. Are you?#transformers."
"The Last Knight" is the fifth film in the Paramount franchise, which is expected to run to at least eight movies. The fourth film, "Age of Extinction," was released in 2014.
The upcoming production, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, will hit screens in June 2017.
