THOUSANDS have been displaced due to the floods in the East Coast since earlier this month. As a caring nation, Malaysians everywhere can and should help alleviate the sufferings of the flood victims.
The public can donate basic necessities such as diapers, infant milk, milk powder, mattresses, toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap), sanitary pads, rice, cooking oil, mineral water, detergent, dried food items (sardines, biscuits), blankets, towels, malt drinks, tea, coffee and clothing, among other items.
