COVID-19: Indonesia records 1,902 new cases, 69 deaths

The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia continues to increase to 144,945 while another 79,174 patients are still being monitored for the virus infection.
Based on the Indonesian government's official website on COVID-19, www.covid19.go.id today, a total of 1,902 new cases were confirmed within 24 hours in the republic.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 69 deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 6,346.
Jakarta province recorded the highest overall positive cases at 31,016, followed by East Java (28,886) and the rest in 32 other provinces.
The province of East Java recorded the highest total death toll at 2,074, followed by Jakarta (1,032), Central Java (809), South Sulawesi (347) and the rest in other regions in Indonesia.
