Gaza teen blogger 'live' tweets Gaza attacks
STILL ALIVE: The brave Gaza teen is still alive, tweeting her experiences in the war-torn Gaza Strip.
Social media has become a powerful tool for Gaza teen blogger Farah Baker who has been 'live' tweeting her experience in Gaza to the world on Twitter.
The 16-year-old girl known as @Farah_Gazan on Twitter, has gone viral with 'live' tweets of her unbridled fears and mixed emotions during the ongoing Israeli aggressions. Her tweets contain images and visuals that have touched the hearts and minds of more than 86,000 followers -- and that number has been steadily increasing.

The Russian Times (RT) reported that Baker even uploaded videos containing sights and sounds of the bombardment.

The RT reported her running commentary was cut short when IDF knocked out Gaza’s only power electricity, sending over 20,000 homes into total darkness.
2nd day of power cut: food in the fridge rotted, water on th verge of force bc we can not run the motor, Mobile Charge almost finished#Gaza

“Following strikes on 13 feeder lines and Gaza’s main electric power plant, at least 90 percent of the electricity is out, resulting in regular blackouts for the region’s 1.8 million-strong population,” an official from a local power supplier told Al Jazeera, RT reported.
The teen thankfully is safe and tweeted the following after the power cuts:
I COULD SURVIVE LAST NIGHT!! I AM ALIVE!! Alhamdulillah #Gaza

The bombardment of Gaza has intensified since Monday after 10 Israeli soldiers were killed in cross-border attacks.
More than 1,200 people have been killed in Gaza to date, with tens of thousands displaced by Israeli’s “Operation Protective Edge”
Baker is still tweeting at the time of writing.
