Salma Zuhara, 17 had a plesant surprise when the Grab driver who accepted her ride request turned out to be her father whom she has not seen in 10 years.
Through an Instagram post, Salma shares the heartwarming story while uploading a picture of her with her father.
“I had ordered a GrabBike ride after school. Then, I got a driver. I didn't really pay attention. When the driver came, it was actually my own father,” she wrote.
The post then went viral on social media, garnering over 74,000 likes.
Portal Kosmo.com reported, Salma had not seen her father in 10 years, since her parents got divorced.
“It is difficult to describe my emotions after meeting my father again. I feel sad, happy, awkward, I can't really explain it," she said.
The high school student now lives with her mother and three younger siblings in Kudus, Central Java.
Salma added, she had saved her father's mobile number so that they could communicate again in the future.
