Gwyneth Paltrow lovers and haters are likely keeping an eye out for her latest cookery book, this time aimed at the health-conscious, "super-busy home cook."
"It's All Easy: Delicious Weekday Recipes for the Super-Busy Home Cook," published by Grand Central Life & Style, features 125 of Paltrow's favorite recipes which she claims can be made in the time it would take to order takeout.
True to Paltrow's clean living MO, dishes contain little to no sugar and are mostly gluten-free and include breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas.
Recipes include chocolate cinnamon overnight oats; soft polenta with cherry tomatoes; chicken enchiladas and quick sesame noodles.
A separate section features "on-the-go" meals that can be prepared as pack lunches for work or school such as Moroccan chicken salad wrap and chopped salad with grilled shrimp.
Written with the food editor and food stylist at Goop, Thea Baumann, "It's All Easy" is a follow-up to "It's All Good" and "My Father's Daughter."
In her intro, Paltrow describes her sophomore release as "a self-help book for the chronically busy cook," for readers like fellow celebrity mom BFFs Drew Barrymore and Reese Witherspoon.
"When I sat down to start my new book, I had been polling my friends and colleagues on what sort of cookbook they were looking for. These friends all seemed to have a common culinary yearning: they wanted a collection of recipes that they could prepare easily," she says in her intro.
"They wanted to find themselves in the kitchen at the end of their over-extended days and be able to prepare something delicious and quick, something wholesome and simple. Essentially, they yearned for the antidote to all their busyness. A simple reset of the compass towards wholeness and quality at the end of the day."
Chapters are divided thematically, with recipes grouped under titles like "In a Pinch, "Summer Nights" and "Unexpected Guests."
Paltrow's foray into the publishing world has also inspired members of her squad to do the same: In February, Kate Hudson came out with a lifestyle book called "Pretty Happy"; Drew Barrymore released "Wildflower" last fall; and Cameron Diaz released her second healthy living guide "The Longevity Book."
"It's All Easy" will be released April 12.
