The five-day annual event will see 500 exhibitors from 14 countries including China, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Spain, USA, Singapore, Italy and France flock to the show in Kuala Lumpur to display the latest Asian design trends to thousands of visitors.
A new showcase entitled "Designing with Malaysian Hardwood" will take the center stage for the first time this year, in a collaboration between the Malaysian Timber Council and MIFF. Malaysian designer Philip Yap will be on hand with his exhibition "Collection N(degree)1", exploring the process of designing with tropical Malaysian hardwood.

Additional highlights include a series of five industry-highlighting current trends and bring attendees face-to-face with international industry experts. This year’s speakers include Italian industry consultants Enrico G. Cleva, Roberta Mutti and Franz Rivoira.
The MIFF Furniture Design Competition (MIFF FDC) will be concluded on March 5, with the winner selected by an international jury to be announced at a prize presentation ceremony. The works of the 10 finalists will be showcased during MIFF.
