The Maserati GranTurismo Sport was officially launched in Malaysia by its sole importer and distributor Naza Italia Sdn Bhd today at its 3S flagship showroom in PJ.
Joint Group Executive Chairman and Chief executive Officer of Naza Group of Companies Datuk Wira SM Faisal Tan Sri Nasimuddin, Senior Vice President 4 Wheels Naza Motor Group Datuk Maruan Mohd Said, Naza Italia Sdn Bhd General Manager Wan Ahmad Wan Abas and Regional Director Maserati Asia Pacific Gaetano Marino were present at the launch.
An evolution of the GranTurismo S and the GranTurismo S Automatic, the GranTurismo Sport delivers a range of technical features that enhance its sporting character, both interior and exterior.
Wan said the company sold 27 units of Maserati cars last year and they are now targeting to sell at least 60 cars this year.
“The two cars we launched today have already been sold,” he added.
The car is available in both 6-speed automatic and electro-actuated 6-speed transmissions the ride also delivers a new generation of the Sport skyhook active damping system and dual-cast brakes for maximum stopping power.
Capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.8 seconds, the ride carries the latest evolution of Maserati’s all-alloy.
The car is priced at RM1.12 million.
Meanwhile, Wan revealed a new outlet will open its doors soon in Kuala Lumpur.
“We are going to have a centre at the KL Platinum Park which belongs to Naza. We will be able to present ourselves in the right place in order to meet the expectation from customers and the market”, Wan added.
