Several areas in Sepang and Hulu Langat will experience water supply disruption for 18 hours from 8 pm on July 20 to 2 pm the following day.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement here on Friday said the disruption was due to the equipment replacement work at the Desa Putra Water Service Reservoir.
In Sepang, the areas to be affected are Puncak Pinggiran Putra, Taman Desa Utama Sungai Merab, Taman Desa Baginda, Taman Desa Sentosa Teras Jernang and the National Anti-Drug Agency in Bangi.
Also Sultan Ahmad Shah Training Institute, Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Institut Perguruan Islam Selangor, Taman Desa Fitri, Kampung Desa Putra, Section 11 and 12 of Bandar Baru Bangi, Taman Ayer Hitam Permai, and Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Dugang.
In Hulu Langat, 11 areas to be affected are Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Lingkungan 1, Alam Sari, Petronas LLM (SKVE), Sekolah Antarabangsa Tanahrata, Kelisa Ria Apartment Sungai Tangkas, German-Malaysian Institute (GMI), Taman Universiti, Taman Vista Emas, Taman Tropika 1 and 2, Villa Tropika Apartment and Green Villa Apartment Sungai Tangkas.
Users are advised to keep sufficient supply of water during the disruption.
