Social media reports claiming that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak bullied Cabinet ministers in connection with the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issue were not true, said Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah.

"It is like this, 1MDB is owned by the Finance Ministry, so we have to be responsible for it, which is to bring to the Cabinet for endorsement on what will be done by 1MDB.

"The issue of bullying, does not arise," he said.

Ahmad Husni said this when interviewed in a special RTM dialogue programme titled "1MDB: Where is the money?"

The one-hour programme telecast over TV1 from 9.05pm, hosted by Shuhaimi Mohamed and Sayed Munawar Sayed Mustar, discussed in depth on 1MDB investments and the government's plan in settling the company's debt.

Earlier, the media reported allegations concerning a statement made by Najib urging Cabinet ministers who still failed to understand 1MDB investment issues, though a consensus has been reached, to resign.
