UMNO's Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein agreed with conditions on PM's call for Cabinet members who disagreed on 1MDB saga should resign.
UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein today agreed but with conditions on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's call to Cabinet members to resign if they disagreed with him on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issues.
Replying to Astro AWANI's tweet this morning, Hishammuddin who is also the Defence Minister said the conditions are that 1MDB should be rationalised and there should be accountability and transparency.

On Sunday, a news portal reported that Najib had urged Cabinet members who did not agree with him on 1MDB issue to resign.
Najib was said to have made the statement at the Cabinet meeting on Friday, after Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah had presented a plan for the corporate rationalisation of 1MDB.
IMDB is expected to be wound down, the Cabinet was told, but the key challenge is its high-level of debt which stood at RM42 billion in its last financial accounts.
