He said he was also informed that the Federal government had agreed to inject RM900 million into the company.
The Pandan MP said his informer had also said that RM300 million from the money had already been channeled to 1MDB.
He said there was also talks that a huge amount of money, estimated to be of RM3 billion, to have already been channeled to the 1MDB before the matter was submitted to the Cabinet.
In the press statement, Rafizi had also called on Najib to release the minutes of the Cabinet meeting to shed light over the allegations.
Yesterday, Auditor-General Tan Sri Ambrin Buang said the National Audit Department has began an audit of 1MDB soon after being instructed to do so by Najib.
He said the department would give priority to undertaking the audit of the government-owned strategic development company in an independent and professional manner.
