20 schools identified in Melaka with serious bullying issues
Datuk Abdul Jalil Hassan said three of the schools have also been identified to have been involved in drugs abuse.
A total of 20 primary and secondary schools in Melaka have been identified as having serious discipline and bullying cases.
The schools identified are located in three districts where five schools are in Alor Gajah, 11 in Melaka Tengah and four in Jasin.
Melaka police chief Datuk Abdul Jalil Hassan said three of the schools have also been identified to have been involved in drugs abuse.
He said while the schools in Melaka are being monitored by an officer with Inspector rank who acts as a liaison officer, the three shcools with drugs abuse cases are being monitored by an officer from the narcotics department.
This means there will be two officers in these three schools monitoring gangsterims, bullying and drug abuses cases.
He told this to reporters after launching the Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) at Plaza Mahkota, Banda Hilir, today.
