4,184 traffic offenders surrender during Ops Warta
The 'Ops Warta' was implemented to track down traffic offenders who have warrants of arrest issued to them.
The total of traffic offenders with arrest warrant who surrendered during the current Ops Warta, which began on Monday have hit 4,184 as of Saturday.
According to a Bukit Aman traffic branch report, Selangor contributed to the highest number with 1,169, followed by Johor at 694 so far.
Up to Saturday, a total of 887 offenders were nabbed for failing to settle their arrest warrants nationwide, of which 283 would be charged and 604 were given bail.
The 'Ops Warta' was implemented to track down traffic offenders who have warrants of arrest issued to them.
