KUALA TERENGGANU: Forty-six roads in four districts in the state were still closed due to floods since Dec 17.
The four districts are Hulu Terengganu, Setiu, Kemaman and Besut.
In Besut, the roads closed to all traffic are Jalan Jertih-Kuala Besut at Kampung (Kg) Cawat-Kg Nail; Jalan Jertih-Kuala Besut at Kg Nangka; Jalan Bulatan Che Selamah-Kg Raja at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tembila, Jalan Bulatan Che Selamah-Kg Raja at Kg Tembila; Jalan Jertih-Keruak; Jalan Pelagat-Lata Tembakah and Jertih underbridge road.
Other roads are Jalan Tok Sabah/Gertak Seratus, Jalan Tok Dak/Batu Putih/Batu Tumbuh, Jalan Jawek/Tok Raja/Alur Lintah, Jalan Jawek/Tok Raja/Bukit Tumbuh, Jalan Renek/Tembila, Jalan Bukit Kenak/Gong Terap, Jalan SMK Sungai (Sg) Nering/Nyor Tujuh, Jalan Kuala Kubang/Lata Belatang, Jalan Air Panas La and Jalan Air Panas La-Felda Tenang.
Meanwhile, Jalan Jertih-Keruak at Kg Cerang Meling, Jalan Alur Lintah/Kg Pinang/Kg Mak Ka and Jalan Gong Kepas/Batu Tumbuh/Tembila in Besut are also closed for light vehicles.
In Hulu Terengganu, the roads closed to all traffic are Jalan Batu 24-Pengkalan Ajal, Jalan Matang/ Nibong/Kuala Telemong, Jalan Kg Pueh-Tapah-Payang Kayu-Baung-Kuala Ping, Kg Pelam/Bukit Lawang, Jalan Bukit Jak/Kuala Perah/Kuala Ketir, Jalan Ajil-Kuala Berang near the landfill, Jalan Ajil-Kuala Berang at Kg Paya Besar, Jalan Simpang Gaung-Sungai Tong, Jalan Bukit Diman-Tersat and Jalan Kuala Berang-Sekayu-Belukar Bukit-Felda Mengkawang.
In Setiu, Jalan Permaisuri-Seladang, Jalan Pengkalan Merbau/Pelong and Jalan Kg Bukit-Alur Lik are also closed for heavy vehicles, while Jalan Chalok/Bukit Putera/Telaga Papan and Jalan Pengkalan Merbau are closed for light vehicles.
In Kemaman, the roads closed to traffic include Jalan Cukai-Air Putih from the Chukai toll exit to Pasir Pasir Gajah, Jalan Teladas-Air Putih and Jalan Pelatoh-Lubuk Lesong.
Jalan Seri Bandi, Jalan Mawar, Jalan Seri Bandi under the East Coast Expressway, Jalan Air Putih, Jalan Ketih 5-Batu Putih-Kertih at Kg Pengkalan Ranggon and Damansara Hotel, Jalan Payoh-Kemasek, Jalan Paman-Ibok, Jalan Lubuk Lesung and Jalan Jerangau-Jabor are only closed for light vehicles.
