Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem has challenged Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to sue him and the Sarawak government if the latter was unhappy that his party colleagues had been denied entry into the state.
Adenan ticked off Anwar for questioning the state's decision as he (Anwar) was not barred from entering the state.
"Sarawak does not need outsiders to interfere on its future direction and to come to the state to create trouble," he said at a meet-the-people session at the Kampung Teh Hall in Mukah here today.
Sarawak denied entry to three PKR leaders, including secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution, who were deported back to Kuala Lumpur upon arrival at the Sibu airport yesterday.
Adenan, who is also Sarawak Barisan Nasional chairman, said the state was peaceful while the people lived in harmony despite coming from different religious and ethnic backgrounds.
