Datuk Seri Ahmad Said is expected to be sworn in as the Terengganu Menteri Besar for the second term at Istana Maziah, here tomorrow.

According to sources from the Terengganu Information Department, the swearing-in ceremony before the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, is scheduled for 9.15am and will be followed by the swearing-in of the state Exco members.

Ahmad, 56, received his instrument of appointment yesterday afternoon after obtaining the consent of the Sultan of Terengganu.

He was reappointed as the Menteri Besar after the Terengganu Barisan Nasional won 17 of the 32 State Legislative Assembly seats in the 13th General Election on Sunday.

Ahmad retained the Kijal state seat after defeating PAS candidate Hazri Jusoh with a majority of 4,204 votes.
