AirAsia X passenger dies while onboard flight

A woman is confirmed to have passed away while onboard AirAsia X flight D7 171 which was on its way to Kuala Lumpur from Jeddah, late Friday evening.

AirAsia X in a statement confirmed this report and stated that the family of the deceased and relevant authorities have been informed of the matter.

“We are providing the necessary help which is needed at the moment,” said AirAsia X in its statement.

Cause of death is still unknown.
