Alexander Wang’s Goth Posse

If you remember Alexander Wang’s Fall 2015 runway show properly, it will bring to mind a pitch black tunnel with models stomping in creepers, black tailoring, mesh, chains and embellishments inspired by heavy metal bands. For his new campaign, Wang wanted to deliver the same tough, Goth girl brashness with a group of models who look like very chic living dead.

The models wear studded collars, velvet tops, lace-up platforms, and chain mail netting. Shot in black and white by Steven Klein, and styled by Karl Templer with creative direction by Pascal Dangin of KiDS Creative, the campaign features a pack of sombre, brooding beauties. With a mix of Wang’s favourite models – Anna Ewers, Binx Walton, Hanne Gaby Odiele alongside edgy performers like AyaBambi and Alice Glass posing in an abandoned concrete brick space, chins elevated, looking like girls you would never want to cross!
