Best Tarts In Kuala Lumpur
Sometimes all we need is a good tart to sweeten our day, so we figured since we have a huge sweet tooth why not come up with a list of the best tartlets in Kuala Lumpur. These delights are wickedly scrumptious and filled with an assortment of ingredients – creamy custards, fruit, and cheese, even chocolate. Consider yourself very lucky if you have leftovers at the end of the day. Imagine those delectable confectionaries of pastry filled with egg custard, piping hot from the oven. Many times we have gazed at a couple of tarts, golden and mouth-wateringly ready to be eaten.
One rule: A crisp golden base is the foundation for many a good meal.
Lorem Ipsum If you are looking for a crowd-free hideout in Bangsar, Lorem Ipsum fits the bill. It’s a seductively inviting and welcoming café but what makes this place more enticing are the tarts by home baker Ling’s Kitchen, as they are unquestionably delightful. They are made with top-notch ingredients and are appetizingly good. Address: 1, 59, Jalan Bangkung, Taman Bandaraya, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Bread Shop This bakery is located in Jalan Setiakasih, Bukit Damansara and they are known for their pastries and buns (hence the name). Currently our top favourite is the Pecan tart, moist and deliciously well-made. Their lemon tart and chocolate banana tart are truly must-haves as well. Indulgence galore, buttery, flaky and crispy with a caramelised exterior, that’s a pastry you really want to treat yourself to.

Tong Kee Bread & Tarts Egg tarts are the bomb here! Known for having the best egg tarts in town, each bite of Tong Kee’s silky smooth custard encased in crumbly pastry brings back childhood memories for many. There are two versions to choose from – flaky or butter pastry. The flaky egg tart features a super flaky crust that most are used to, while the butter pastry crust is crisper with a distinctive butter flavour. A crowd favourite!

Feeka Coffee Roasters They are known for many things but the Chocolate Coffee Tart is mind-blowingly amazing and a must-try! Feeka is a rare city-centre find that feels effortlessly casual and charming, well-lit and welcoming. The chocolate curls-adorned tart is a big hit with its aromatic coffee and chocolate flavours paired with the delicate crust.

PULP PULP is located in an old printing press warehouse and delivers well-executed fare that ranges from chicken pies to mushroom quiches, carrot cakes to raisin scones and fruit tarts. You have to try the Yin & Yang of PULP’s desserts, one Eastern, the other from far West, by combining the fresh-tasting steamed pumpkin rice cake with the creamy-rich chocolate tart, which is unbelievably pleasant!
