Bukit Aman records statement from Rafizi

Pandan MP Mohd Rafizi Ramli was called to the Bukit Aman police headquarters to record his statement to assist investigations under the Sedition Act 1948 at around 2pm today.

Bukit Aman CID director Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh confirmed the matter when contacted here today.

According to him, Mohd Rafizi who is also the vice president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) was called to give his statement regarding his posting on social platform Twitter recently, which was believed to be seditious in nature, against the judiciary of the country.

Meanwhile, Mohd Rafizi, who was met by reporters after giving his statement at the police headquarters said he had been served the notice on Feb 18 by a police inspector who was handling the case.
