Burberry Is Getting Personal
Burberry’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey hosted an event at the brand’s global flagship store in the heart of London that celebrated the craftsmanship behind the brand’s iconic products. It also kicked off a month of in-store bespoke opportunities and services that will help customers personalise their Burberry items.
Over 600 guests were in attendance including British artist Luke Edward Hall, model Callum Turner, Suki Waterhouse, Eliza Fairbanks, Tom Hughes, Johannes Huebl and many more. British DJ Jamie Burke played a live set during the event and the store was altered to house unique installations featuring artwork by British illustrator Luke Edward Hall alongside a series of live craftsmanship stations where Burberry craftsmen demonstrate the skills behind the creation of the iconic designs. Giant installations filled the atrium of the store bringing to life a vibrant and rich variety of colours, patterns and textures in the brand’s latest collections. Guests could discover pieces from the latest menswear and womenswear collections including The Patchwork bag throughout the night. Some of the bespoke services presented include monogramming through The Burberry Scarf Bar, which offers new colour combinations. The scarves can be monogrammed with up to three initials in a choice of thread colours. You can also personalise a selection of bags, from signature designs to seasonal runway styles including The Banner and The Buckle bag. Those are just a few in-store craftsmanship and personalisation services Burberry has, for more information go to your nearest Burberry store or head to Burberry’s website.
